Ian Crawford, MT-BC
Music Therapist & Director of Therapeutic Music Lessons
Ian Crawford is a board-certified music therapist. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2012. Ian completed his clinical internship at The Center for Discovery in New York, where he studied clinical improvisation with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities.
Ian has professional experience serving people of all ages with a variety of needs and abilities, including early childhood, people with autism, intellectual disabilities, neurologic disorders, behavioral and mood disorders, and older adults with dementia. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including the public schools, therapy clinics, senior living communities, and home-based settings. Ian also enjoys teaching guitar and piano, creatively adapting his curriculum to the needs and interests of his students. |
