Mission Statement

Twin Cities Music Therapy Services, LLC. is dedicated to providing the highest quality services using music to promote health through empowering children and adults of all abilities to become actively invested in their process of growth. Music therapy sessions are music-centered and creatively facilitated through individualized, evidence-based treatment.

Populations Served

Twin Cities Music Therapy Services, LLC provides music therapy services to people of all ages and abilities, promoting goal directed development. We specialize in working with children and adults with autism, developmental, physical, and neurologic disabilities.

Lindsay Markworth, MMT, MT-BC 
Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapist
Founder and Director of Music Therapy

Lindsay Markworth
Lindsay Markworth is a board-certified music therapist and the founder of Twin Cities Music Therapy Services, LLC. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN and her Master of Music Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Lindsay is also a certified Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapist, having completed the level one training at the Nordoff-Robbins Center at New York University.

Lindsay has experience working with a variety of populations in music therapy including: preschool children, at-risk youth, people with developmental disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injury, psychological disorders, and older adults with dementia.

Lindsay is an active member of the music therapy community. She is adjunct faculty in the music therapy department at Augsburg College. She is also a frequent presenter at the American Music Therapy Association and Great Lakes Region of Music Therapy Conferences. She has presented for a variety of local Minnesota organizations including Minnesota Life College, PACER, St. David's Center and Fraser. Her book chapter, “Self-Discoveries in the Nordoff-Robbins Level One Certification Training,” has been published in the e-book Self-Experiences in Music Therapy Education, Training, and Supervision (2013) edited by Kenneth Bruscia.  Lindsay has also published a qualitative research study, Without Words: Music as Communication for Children with Autism (2014) in Qualitative Inquiries in Music Therapy.


Rosie Attiyeh, MT-BC
Music Therapist

​Rosie Attiyeh is a board-certified music therapist and received her bachelors degree in music therapy from Augsburg University. Rosie has experience working with a variety of populations and ages in music therapy, including: early childhood education, autism, pediatric intensive care, adult day program, and dementia. She completed her internship at Children’s MN, where she worked with patients of all ages and abilities, including hematology/oncology, epilepsy, medical complexities, mental health diagnoses, eating disorders, and pediatric/neonatal intensive care. Rosie is a percussionist, and enjoys learning new stringed instruments like ukulele and the banjo.

Rosie spends two weeks every summer volunteering at a camp for children with cancer and their siblings. Outside of music therapy, she can most often be found at twin cities coffee shops, supporting friends’ music projects, and exploring her Minneapolis neighborhood.


Taylor Baloga Loufek, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Taylor Baloga Loufek is a board-certified music therapist. She began contracting with Twin Cities Music Therapy Services after completing an internship with Lindsay Markworth, MMT, MT-BC, and Jennifer Hicks, MT-BC, E-RYT in March 2018. She will complete Augsburg University’s Master of Music Therapy program in 2018. She received her bachelor’s degree from Luther College in 2015 with a major in piano performance and minor in psychology. At Luther, she also played violin in symphonic and chamber ensembles. Since beginning her master’s degree, Taylor has provided music therapy to individuals and groups in a variety of settings: an Early Head Start facility, special education classrooms, a behavioral health center for children and adolescents, a counseling center for adults with addictions, an adult day center, and hospice. She brings these experiences to her current practice, along with her passion for working through music to help individuals access their strengths and experience wellness. 

In addition to her music therapy practice, Taylor teaches early childhood music classes through MacPhail Center for Music. She enjoys travel and volunteered at a pediatric burn camp in Chongqing, China in July 2017. Taylor loves calling the Twin Cities her home since moving from Lawrence, KS in 2015. She enjoys spending time outdoors whether gardening, walking her dog, or exploring. Taylor believes that life’s journey is about developing meaningful connections with the people in our lives, our world, and ourselves as we grow. Her mission is to facilitate music experiences that give individuals opportunities to experience life’s journey!


Sean Blum, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Sean graduated from Augsburg College with degrees in music therapy and psychology. He
completed his final clinical internship with Good Samaritan Society Specialty Care Community in
Robbinsdale, where he worked with patients in transitional care, as well as long-term residents with
degenerative neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s. He also has
experience working with patients in a hospital setting, adults with developmental disabilities, children
with varying abilities in mixed classrooms and older adults in an assisted living facility. Sean is an
accomplished guitarist, but also finds great joy in playing percussion, piano, electric bass, and voice.

He is passionate about music and enjoys all genres, with an emphasis on classic rock. He is excited to
employ his love for music while working with people of all ages and music preferences to develop and
learn together through music.   


Anna Brudzinski, MT-BC
Music Therapist & Intake Specialist

Anna Brudzinski, MT-BC, joined Twin Cities Music Therapy Services, LLC after completing her internship with founder Lindsay Markworth, MMT, MT-BC and Jennifer Hicks, MT-BC with Joyful Noises Music Therapy, LLC. She has a bachelors degree in vocal performance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and is finishing her Masters of Music Therapy degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has worked with a variety of clinical populations including children and adults with developmental and intellectual disorders, older adults with dementia, and adults with mental health disorders and psychiatric disorders. Anna is also an active vocalist in the Twin Cities, currently singing with The Singers – Minnesota Choral Artists. Anna’s favorite instrument is the Clatterpillar and her favorite ice cream is mint-chip. In her spare time, Anna likes to try new restaurants in the Twin Cities, walk around the lakes, spend time with her family and friends, and travel.   


Ian Crawford, MT-BC
Music Therapist & Director of Therapeutic Music Lessons

Ian Crawford is a board-certified music therapist.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2012.  Ian completed his clinical internship at The Center for Discovery in New York, where he studied clinical improvisation with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Ian has professional experience serving people of all ages with a variety of needs and abilities, including early childhood, people with autism, intellectual disabilities, neurologic disorders, behavioral and mood disorders, and older adults with dementia.  He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including the public schools, therapy clinics, senior living communities, and home-based settings.

Ian also enjoys teaching guitar and piano, creatively adapting his curriculum to the needs and interests of his students.  


Mike LimBybliw, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Mike LimBybliw (pronounced LIM-BIB-LOO) became a board certified music therapist in 2010 after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Mike is currently the supervising music
therapist at Good Samaritan Society Specialty Care Community (Robbinsdale, MN), a
national roster American Music Therapy Association internship. Since 2012, Mike has been a
frequent presenter at state, regional, and national conferences on percussion, guitar, and clinical
groove concepts. Mike lives in Saint Paul, MN with his amazing wife, Amy and son, Oscar. 


Alicia Little, MT-BC
Music Therapist

​Alicia Little is a board-certified music therapist and received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Alicia is excited to be part of the Twin Cities Music Therapy Services team, serving clients and families in the North Metro area.

Alicia has experience working in music therapy with all ages and a wide variety of populations including: early childhood special education, autism, traumatic brain injury, people with developmental disabilities, dementia, Huntington’s disease, and mental health diagnoses.

She recently spent time in Ireland doing music therapy with children with special needs. Outside of music therapy she enjoys practicing yoga and painting.

Kam Markworth, MM
Administrator

Kam Markworth is in charge of billing, marketing, payroll, web site management, and tech support at Twin Cities Music Therapy Services. He has previously served as a Digital Producer and Digital Marketing Specialist for non-profit organizations in the Twin Cities, in addition to serving as the Vice President of Operations for a small web startup based in Philadelphia, PA.

Although Kam is the only non-music therapist on staff, he is a professional musician and has three (3) music degrees. He regularly performs as a freelance upright and electric bassist and is an adjunct music instructor at Augsburg University and Anoka Ramsey Community College.


Steve Sullivan, MT-BC

Steve Sullivan joined our team in January of 2020, and will be building his caseload in the Twin Cities' East Metro. Steve graduated from Augsburg University's Master of Music Therapy program, after completing his internship at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Production from McNally Smith College of Music.

​He is a skilled guitarist, songwriter, and music therapist. We are excited to have Steve join our team as he supports our ability to meet the needs of clients in the East Metro of the Twin Cities!
